Explanation
For guitarists who want more expressive guitars and a fat, extended sound like Santana's.
Even if you are not a fan of Carlos Santana, you must have admired his sound. Deep, smooth, and passionate tones, the guitars that produce them are filled with special design and attention to detail.
For you, we recommend the first Carlos Santana signature model. Mahogany body with a gorgeous figured maple top, thick mahogany neck with good grip, and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Although it is a modification, a piezo pickup has been installed to give it a special acoustic sound approach.
Pursuing a simple and direct expressiveness, this model has an overwhelming presence both live and on recordings. The distinctive symmetric head design is also still in place.
Not just a signature, but a monumental first model for Santana fans. This is the guitar to have in the hands of those who seek an acoustic tone and the power of an electric guitar in a single instrument.
Please experience its sound and feeling.
Paul Reed Smith and the Santana model
Paul Reed Smith began repairing and building guitars in earnest on West Street in Annapolis, MD in late 1975, and in 1980 he built three guitars for his beloved guitarist, Carlos Santana. The model developed at Santana's request featured a double cutaway body shape, a headstock called the Santana Head, a slightly shorter 24.5" scale, a flat 11.5" R fingerboard, and a fat grip. The new guitar quickly became Santana's main instrument, and to this day it continues to make a strong impression on his fans as his favorite instrument.SPEC.
