Restoration report from a professional luthier, which will be provided with the guitar, including their name and address:

Restoration Report Concerning a FENDER Telecaster electric guitar, Serial No. 222134, dated 1969 on the end of the neck. Condition of the instrument before restoration: The body of the instrument was refinished with a two-component, clear satin varnish. It shows some damage and signs of moderate and normal wear for an instrument of this age. It is unusual in that it is made of alder, rather than ash, indicating that it was originally finished in an opaque "Custom Color" instead of the standard translucent "Blonde," a fact confirmed by remnants of the original "Olympic White" varnish found in various cavities. This is a fairly rare option on Telecasters of this era. The two machined holes, plugged with wooden pegs, are present on the back of the body, consistent with the manufacturing processes of the period. The bridge pickup is defective. The frets are very worn. All other parts and components of the instrument are as expected on such an instrument of this era and show no modifications or repairs. 1/2 Work Performed The body was stripped, sanded, and refinished with a nitrocellulose lacquer in "Olympic White," tinted and aged to recreate the patina of an instrument of this age. The bridge pickup was rewound using period-correct materials and specifications. The frets were replaced with Jescar stainless steel frets in the most suitable size available, closely matching the original frets. The original 1-megaohm volume and tone potentiometers, found on late 1969 Fender Telecasters, have been replaced with 250-kiloohm "new old stock" 1969 potentiometers, which are also found on the instrument. The original potentiometers are included with the instrument. A digital photo album documenting the restoration is attached to this report and forms an integral part of it.
