before, the guitar had been repainted blue, and before that, white.

In 2022, the owner decided to have it professionally painted for $1000 to match Gary Moore's Stratocaster (Fiesta Red over Torino Red). The Fender decal was also replaced.

The body and neck are original 1963.

The neck is marked 63B, which is still legible.

The pickups are original: Black Bobbins. After 60 years, it's difficult to say if they've been rewound or not, but in any case, they sound as they should, with the extraordinary tone of vintage 1963 Stratocasters.

Pots 1963 date code.

These are crater-style pots that could have been produced between late 1962 and 1963. However, we are not certain they are original.

The plastics are old, but it's difficult to say if they are original.

The pickup covers and knobs are original.

The pickguard is old, but it's difficult to confirm its originality.

The tremolo is original.

Vintage guitars can be opened in front of the customer.

The buyer receives what they have played and seen visually; the customer may be accompanied by a luthier or other professional.

No certificate is issued for the instrument.
